New to the Huntersville area, owner David LeMeur moved here in 2007 from South Florida. He finished up a five year stint as a private chef and caterer. Chef David has been in the food service industry most of his life and welcomes the opportunity to take his career in a direction that he finds more personally and spiritually fulfilling: working with dogs and rescuing Mini Schnauzers.
Introduced to the Miniature Schnauzer breed ten years ago David has been active in schnauzer rescue organizations with an emphasis on Schnauzer Love Rescue (schnauzerloverescue.com) based in Birmingham, Alabama and Schnauzer Rescue of the Carolinas (schnauzerrescueofthecarolinas.org) serving the southeastern United States.
Giving safe harbor to the rescue animals was the opening of a path that has led to Happy Paws Daycare & Kennel. He regards his dog, Boulud*, as his child and would be as protective of your dog during a Happy Paws visit.
Happy Paws Daycare & Kennel is a proud member of the PCSA (The Pet Care Services Association). The Pet Care Services Association (formerly known as ABKA or American Boarding Kennel Association) is the non-profit trade association for over 3,100 pet care service businesses in the United States and around the world. Only Pet Care Services Association members commit to the Pet Care Services Association Code of Ethics and the Pet Owners' Bill of Rights which assures pet owners that their beloved pets will receive professional, loving care. Pet Care Services Association members offer a variety of services for your pet including boarding, dog daycare, grooming, pet transportation, shipping, pet supplies, food sales.
* All of Mr. LeMeur's dogs are named after great French chefs: Paul BOCUSE, Daniel BOULUD and Fernand POINT and soon to join the family … Auguste ESCOFFIER
